Breaking New Ground
Remodelling Day 1
Seven hours of scraping, peeling, and picking away at that god awful wallpaper and the shop remodel is still miles away from being finished. Still to get done are; the rest of the paper that was too high up to reach, build a partition wall, plumb in the pipes for the tub, paint the walls, put in flooring, tear down the back wall, electrical work, and do a final cleanup. Of course I won’t be doing half of those jobs because I’m no contractor. Now painting, that’s something I’m very good at, but I’m still unsure what color scheme to use. Do I go bright and bold or soft and subdued? I’m torn.
Here is what the shop looked like when I went in this morning.
And this is what it looked like when I left at 5pm.
My arms are killing me.
